We assist the Government of Nepal in the rescue operation of children and reintegrate them with their families with support from Next Generation Nepal. Our trained social workers search for the families of the rescued children to begin the reintegration process. We do this by following government-approved recommended procedures. Families of the rescued children are often extremely poor and require support including health, food aid, and income-generating possibilities to ensure that the child will be well cared for and will not be re-trafficked or displaced because of poverty. Our social workers monitor the care of reintegrated children to ensure safe and sustainable family reintegration. We believe all children have the right to be cared for by their families if at all possible.
